HOW TO BECOME A CHRISTIAN

Our sole purpose of being a church is letting people know how to know God personally as both Savior and Lord.  Responding to Christ's invitation to us can be summarized by.......

  • Believe that we are sinners and that Jesus died on the cross to save us from our sin.
  • Repent by confessing the wrong things that we have done and ask for forgiveness.
  • Renounce  is to turn from our sinful ways and go in the complete opposite direction.

  • FOLLOW Christ.  After accepting His invitation, life is different.  Christ lives in you.  All of the things that were important before are no longer appealing.

God tells us that the only way to heaven is through a personal relationship with Christ Jesus.  To learn more about this invitation, you may click on the More Life icon below.  In addition, the following Bible verses outline how we can accept this wonderful gift.

  • All of us are sinners. (Romans 3:23-24)
  • Even so, God loves us. (Romans 5:8)
  • He not only has provided salvation, but also a way for us to live forever. (John 3:16, Romans 6:23)
  • He asks us to turn away from our sins. (Luke 13:3)
  • We can call upon God for salvation. (Romans 10:13-14)
  • And believe in the Lord Jesus. (Acts 16:31)
  • We can know that we are saved. (John 1:12, Romans 10:9)
  • The world can know that we are saved.  (Matthew 7:16, 20)
